Q. Please talk about this process of communication, who you are and what relationship you have to this world. A. Let us explain. All life exists on a continuum from pure consciousness to dense matter. All life is consciousness limited by form. When consciousness chooses to experience itself limited in form, it incarnates. The material plane, which you call reality, is one of the worlds through which consciousness knows itself. This plane is bound by the laws of duality, the most obvious example of which is the law of life and death. Between this material, dualistic plane and the being-ness of pure consciousness are many worlds of life. Each of these worlds functions according to its own laws and is an aspect of consciousness-knowing-itself-in-form. "We", for so you characterize us, exist on a plane in which form is transient. We "form up", so to speak, in response to your questions. Without the need to communicate with your level, we live in a world defined by light and the wave structures that govern light. We are not "separate" or "individual" in the way that you understand those concepts. We are fluid. All knowledge and all wisdom exists in consciousness, as does all past and future, all form and structure. Whatever is imaginable exists in consciousness as potential, and is made manifest through the operation, at your level, of desire and aversion, which are the bases of all of your belief systems. When you call for wisdom and understanding, these are brought to you. You construct your reality entirely through this process of manifestation; spirit dreaming itself in all aspects of reality. Because of the way in which you, personally, construct the universe, you have required an "other" to bring information to you which you believe inaccessible otherwise. We are, then, the product of your desiring, as is the rest of your world. Q. If you and the world are the products of my desiring, why is there so much suffering and pain? I don't desire those. A. Because you subscribe to belief systems founded on duality you create a world in which everything has its opposite. According to this system you cannot have pleasure without pain, nor justice without injustice. Therefore there is much suffering on your plane. Q. Do I have any choice about this? A. The process of awakening that you are in, and you are not alone in this, is the process of recognizing yourself as spirit incarnate. When you understand this is the case, that your true nature is God-hood, you begin to have choices about how you play the material game. Though the game itself is bound by duality, you come into contact with the possibility of transcendence and of manifesting a transcendent reality. Your desires and revulsions no longer run rampant and therefore your options increase. You live currently on a planet in which acting out has become the norm. The belief in separation as a reality has been cultivated to a level of mass psychosis. Those who subscribed to beliefs that encouraged sharing, cooperation and empathy have been either killed, absorbed or dominated in such a way that to hold to their beliefs is tantamount to suicide. You have a world ruled primarily by fear and greed in which the impulses towards generosity and openness are systematically eradicated from your children's psyches. In such a world the mind rules the heart. This is the cause not only of great destruction but of great suffering at many levels of life experience. Many recognize these truths but know not what to do. We choose to write in these pages in order to support the growing movement of awakening in consciousness that is taking place on your planet. Although from our perspective there is no preference for life or death, for pain or pleasure, we nonetheless hear and respond to the distress that emanates from your planet. We cannot but respond. Life responds; it is its nature. Many life forms hear your pain as a note of disharmony in the symphony that is all life. Many respond. Some you call angels, some guides, some ancient masters. All come to you in the hope of reminding you of the true nature of all life, the love that is the cellular essence of all that is, that joy is your birthright. And, let us add, the distress and disharmony that run rampant on your planet are not the inevitable outcome of suffering. They are the result of the refusal of suffering, the preference to not-suffer, and the closing of the heart in the face of suffering. It is these choices that open the door to cruelty and exploitation. You have many choices here, many possible pathways to change, and many who wish for it and are willing to do what it takes. |
